I tirelessly promote this show, sending out a mailer to almost 200 people, placing a text ad on charter cable for a month prior to the show, sending flyers to every comic/hobby store within 2 hours drive, plastering telephone poles throughout Hickory with flyers, placing a dozen professional pvc signs out at busy intersections, advertising in Wizard, placing ads on internet sites, having a webpage devoted to the show, advertising on our store websites, sending press releases to the Hickory Daily Record (which put us on the front page for our first show), the Focus, and email releases to all the local papers within an hour's radius. |

Hickory Con Fall 2008 is just around the corner! This will be the 7th installment in what has become a very successful show. Our last Fall show brought in over 600 paid admissions (which does not count gaming tournament attendees, dealers, comps, and kids 8 and under)! I hope you will join us. Here are the specifics: Where: Hickory Metro Convention Center, Hickory NC (right off I-40) When: Saturday, September 20, Times: 10am-5pm Dealer setup: Saturday from 7:30am-9:30am Teardown: 5pm-7pm
